Luke Eldridge

Luke Eldridge, Cookeville native and resident, is proud to call the Upper Cumberland home.

He is a graduate of Tennessee Tech University with a degree in psychology. Today, he works as UCHRA’s Housing Program Manager and serves as the local point of contact for the Salvation Army.

Luke is considered the homeless liaison for Cookeville as he has over 10 years of experience working with Individuals who are struggling with homelessness, substance abuse, mental health, and domestic violence. He specializes in connecting those in need with mentorship and resources that provide a path out of homelessness and poverty, while offering treatment for mental illness and addiction.

Luke enjoys giving his time to restorative ministries and charitable organizations. He’s also had the privilege to volunteer at many of our favorite community events including Slide Cookeville, Fall Fun Fest, and “Red, White and BOOM!” July 4th celebration.

Luke is devoted to Melissa his wife of 13 years, their two young children, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Eldridge’s are faithful, longtime members of Engrafted Word Church, where the couple lead youth ministry, serve as deacons, and help in several other departments.
