IMPACT Leadership Adult Program

The IMPACT Leadership Adult Program is a 10-Session program that provides foundational information about the Upper Cumberland with a focus on personal development and civic engagement. This program utilizes the Myers Briggs and CliftonStrengths professional assessments.

Sessions include County Government, City Government, State Government, Local and Federal Law Enforcement, US Department of Transportation, Cookeville Community, Health, Economic Development, and Nonprofit Service. Participants in the 2024-2025 class will be able to participate in the TN Association of Community Leadership Conference with no additional cost.

Nonprofit Training will cover what it means to serve on the board of a nonprofit. It will also cover skills like grant writing, volunteer management, budget oversight and event planning.

The class will take you on a transformational leadership journey. You will be guided through creative, challenging, and complex ways of thinking. Your perspective is your passport or your prison.

Registration for the 2025-2026 Class Deadline is August 1st, 2024

Commitment to the IMPACT Leadership Program is one day a month. Your attendance is mandatory to complete this program and benefit from its goals and objectives for your growth into leadership, potential board placement, and being introduced to the structures and strategies of the complexities of our community. One absence is allowed except for orientation which is mandatory. Plan on being available from 8 AM to 5 PM for each session.

Participants are required to attend each scheduled program event and day, arriving promptly and staying for the duration of the program day or event. For planning purposes, assume that each program day will run from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm (actual times may vary slightly, depending on the events scheduled for that day). Other approximate event times are listed on the date sheet.

Please consider the time commitment prior to submitting your application. Absenteeism from the program could result in being dropped from the program.

The success of IMPACT Leadership is greatly dependent on your involvement.
