Josie Davis
Josie Davis is originally a Floridian but has happily called Cookeville, Tennessee her home for 15+ years. Her academic journey started at Tennessee Technological University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services, concentrating on Child Development and Family Studies in 2015. Since then, she has honed her skills in the human services field.
In early 2023, Josie’s passion for service and dedication to the wellbeing of children and families brought her to AIMHiTN (Association of Infant Mental Health in Tennessee). In her role there as Training Operations Coordinator, she focuses on infant development, high-risk behavioral management, family systems structure development, young adult skill building, and working with the special needs community.
Josie’s love for knowledge led her back to academics in 2018, this time culminating in a master’s degree in Human Services: Business and Administration. This experience ignited her passion for non-profit organizations and their mission. As a Clinical Mental Health Supervisor over the last five years, Josie’s love for team building, professional growth, and program development has only strengthened.
Away from work, she finds joy in the great outdoors, often spotted hiking with her two young children, husband, and fur-baby. Navigating the joys of toddler motherhood with her two boys keeps Josie on her toes, whether that means stepping on stray Legos or getting lost in the world of Super Mario Nintendo. She thrives on seeking out new experiences and positive growth opportunities each day, both on a personal and professional front.
